Biography
Pieter-Jan Daems received his Bachelor degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering in July 2016 from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. He attained his Master degree in Electro-Mechanical engineering (specialization Mechatronics) in 2018. His Master thesis was titled ‘Automatic modal behavior assessment of wind turbine drivetrains’. In 2018, he started his PhD at the Acoustics and Vibrations Research group (AVRG) at VUB. His research focuses on performing long-term modal analysis on rotating machinery.
