Biography
Nymfa Noppe was born in Wetteren, Belgium, in 1990. She received the degree in electro-mechanical engineering in 2014 from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. In the same year she joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she finished her PhD entitled “Performance monitoring and lifetime assessment of offshore wind farms based on SCADA data” in 2019. After her PhD she continues her research as post-doctoral researcher at the AVRG research group. Her main research interests are still situated in the field of data analysis, fatigue and life time assessment of offshore wind farms.
