Nymfa Noppe was born in Wetteren, Belgium, in 1990. She received the degree in electro-mechanical engineering in 2014 from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium. In the same year she joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where she is currently finishing her PhD. Her main research interests are situated in the field of data analysis, performance monitoring and fatigue and life time assessment. All of her research is focused on the use of SCADA data for (offshore) wind farms. Nymfa received the PhD degree in 2019 and continues her research as post-doctoral researcher at the AVRG research group.
