Biography
Charles Snyers received his Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain in 2016. In 2017 he joined Safran Aero Boosters in Liège, Belgium, as R&T Engineer. From January to December 2019, he worked as a graduate trainee at the European Space Agency in Cologne, Germany.
In 2020 he joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel where he is currently a PhD student in the Additive Manufacturing Research Group. His main research interests involve in-situ anomaly detection with Deep Learning and process parameters optimization with Machine Learning.
