Biography:

Born in San José, Costa Rica. I received a bachelor’s degree in Statistics at the University of Costa Rica. Briefly worked for a Munich-based start-up. Later, graduated from the Master in Statistics and Data Science in KU Leuven. Since 2021 I am a Ph.D student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. ir. Jan Helsen.

My research focuses on the use of environmental conditions to predict and forecast fleet-wide behavior using physics-constrained statistical methods and white box modelling. My research interests are time series, volatility modelling and probabilistic performance tracking.
